Tez Vi Truong, professionally known as Tez Frost, is an Australian-born film director and screenwriter acclaimed for his Guinness World Record-setting short film LITTLE HANDS. Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, his cross-cultural storytelling has secured him coveted roles, including a seat at the writing table for Disney China’s STONEY & ROCKY.
Tez's debut feature film, PINK TEDDY was lauded with the Best Film Award at the 2009 Honolulu International Festival. Subsequently, LITTLE HANDS hailed for being translated into an unprecedented 21 languages, was rooted in his experiences teaching English in Asia.
From breaking a Guinness world record to the successful completion of a feature film remotely, Tez's achievements illuminate his unique vision and determination. Tez's distinctive track record is further showcased through interview projects with cinema titans such as Wong Kar Wai, Tony Leung Chiu Wai, and Christopher Doyle.
With his current feature film WE DON'T SAY RETARD ANYMORE starring lead actors with disabilities, Tez specialises in challenging the status quo and turning limitations into opportunities.
